This service is explicitly designed for dogs exhibiting major, complex behavioral issues that cannot be solved through standard obedience training. If you are struggling with behaviors that create stress, fear, or safety concerns in your home or community, this consultation is the necessary first step toward lasting change. Targeting Complex Behavioral Issues: We specialize in developing intensive, custom behavior modification protocols for high-level challenges, including: • Aggression: Growling, snapping, lunging, or biting directed at people, unfamiliar dogs, or family members (Inter-dog or Human-directed aggression). • Reactivity: Severe barking and lunging on walks (Leash Reactivity). • Severe Anxiety and Fear: Issues like extreme fear of noises/storms, resource guarding, or debilitating separation anxiety. Your Comprehensive Roadmap to Resolution: The initial consultation is an in-depth, structured process where we act as your empathizer and protector. We don't just treat the symptom; we investigate the root cause of the behavior by focusing on: 1. In-Depth Behavior Analysis: An extensive review of your dog’s history, daily routine, triggers, and the full context of the unwanted behavior. We will discuss any history of threats or bites to understand the necessary safety mandates. 2. Environmental Management & Safety: We establish immediate management strategies and safety protocols to stop the rehearsal of problem behaviors and reduce liability while we implement long-term solutions. 3. Custom Protocol Development: You receive a personalized behavior modification plan utilizing humane, science-backed techniques like counter-conditioning and positive reinforcement to change your dog's underlying emotional response. 4. Owner Coaching: This is intensive coaching to help you understand your dog’s communication (body language) and give you the skills and confidence to implement the treatment plan consistently.
