This program is strategically designed to capitalize on the formative developmental window (approximately 3 to 14 weeks) when your puppy is most receptive to new experiences. This is the most crucial time to build a confident, resilient, and reliable adult companion. Comprehensive Curriculum: Building a Model Canine Brain We go beyond teaching simple tricks to actively developing your puppy's cognitive skills and inhibitory control, ensuring they learn to make great choices and "get a brain about them". This session provides the precise structure necessary to achieve a well-behaved dog for life by focusing on: • Positive Socialization & Desensitization: Guided exposure to new people, places, and startling stimuli (noise, motion, and high-activity "business" environments). We focus on making car rides and visiting others' homes a positive experience. • Body Handling for Life: Ensuring your puppy is comfortable with necessary handling (feet, ears, mouth, etc.), which makes future vet and groomer visits stress-free. • Foundational Obedience: Mastering essential cues like Sit, Down, and Stay as the starting point for all impulse control. • Advanced Control Foundations: Establishing solid leash walking manners, reliable recall to owner, and the early steps toward off-leash heel and distance work in low-distraction environments.
